Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

2 Years of Canadian Experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Responsibilities or main duties <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Transport materials and equipment to various locations.<\/li>
  • Efficiently load and unload cargo, ensuring the safety of the goods and adherence to best practices.<\/li>
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations.<\/li>
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries and pickups.<\/li>
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Required Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Proven experience as an DZ driver, minimum of 2 years in Canada.<\/li>
  • Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation regulations) and compliance<\/li>
  • Familiarity with safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling.<\/li>
  • Vehicle Maintenance<\/li>
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.<\/li>
  • Experience in loading and unloading various types of cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.<\/li>
  • Proficiency in using GPS and other navigation tools to plan and follow efficient routes.<\/li>
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members and maintaining accurate delivery records.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Preferred Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Ability to perform minor repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues.<\/li>
  • Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to schedules.<\/li>
  • Strong problem-solving skills for addressing unexpected issues on the road.<\/li>
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs), transportation management software, and other digital tools used in modern trucking.<\/li>
  • Good understanding of the regional geography and the road networks within the delivery area.<\/li>
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.<\/li>
  • High attention to detail.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

License, certifications and PPE required <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Valid ODL (Operator\u2019s Driver License) license\/ Commercial driver\u2019s license.<\/li>
  • Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps<\/li>
  • Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>
