Forklift Operator - Counterbalance<\/a><\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Requirements<\/strong><\/p><\/td>

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Experience required <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

1 year of experience as a Counterbalance forklift operator.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Responsibilities or main duties <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.<\/li>
  • Ensure the safe and efficient handling of products, following all safety protocols and guidelines.<\/li>
  • Verify and document the receipt and shipment of materials accurately.<\/li>
  • Organize and store products in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.<\/li>
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Required Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.<\/li>
  • Proactiveness.<\/li>
  • Work with the shipping and receiving schedules as required.<\/li>
  • Knowledge in warehouses procedures<\/li>
  • Attention to detail.<\/li>
  • Technical knowledge in Shipping and Receiving processes and documentation.<\/li>
  • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or WMS (Warehouse Management System).<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Preferred Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse operation.<\/li>
  • Strong organizational skills.<\/li>
  • Experience shipping and receiving is a plus.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

License or certifications required <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Forklift Counterbalance License<\/li>
  • Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps<\/li>
  • Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>
