Warehouse Lead Hand - Night shift<\/a><\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Requirements <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Experience required <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

Lead hand experience and One year of experience as a Forklift Operator.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Responsibilities or main duties <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Coordinate with the Order Manager and dispatch department to prepare trucks for loading.<\/li>
  • Investigate and coordinate any missing orders not found during loading.<\/li>
  • Report outstanding orders on the shipping floor back to the sales team.<\/li>
  • Maintain direct communication with the Midnight Shift<\/li>
  • Plan operations and resource allocations for shipping.<\/li>
  • Relay real-time information to the team to maximize productivity.<\/li>
  • Maintain data reflecting the productivity flow of the shift.<\/li>
  • Ensure all trucks and booms are loaded accurately and trucks leave the yard in a timely manner.<\/li>
  • Address quality, health, and safety issues effectively.<\/li>
  • Accurately document and investigate remaining orders staged on the shipping floor.<\/li>
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.<\/li>
  • Perform any other duties as requested.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Required Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Valid forklift license.<\/li>
  • Basic computer skills.<\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, processes, and techniques, including packaging, sorting, stacking, product placement\/picking, loading, and inventory control.<\/li>
  • Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies, and procedures.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.<\/li>
  • Positive attitude towards the workplace, products, customers, and co-workers.<\/li>
  • Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and organizational skills.<\/li>
  • Flexibility and adaptability to quickly respond to change.<\/li>
  • Punctuality and good attendance record.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

License or certifications required <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps<\/li>
  • Forklift License.<\/li>
  • Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>
