Forklift Operator - Counterbalance<\/a><\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Requirements<\/strong><\/p><\/td>

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Experience required <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

At least 1 year of experience as a Forklift Operator<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Responsibilities or main duties <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift for various warehouse duties, including shunting rail cars for receiving products.<\/li>
  • Organize the warehouse and ensure efficient product storage.<\/li>
  • Load products for shipment by following established shipping procedures.<\/li>
  • Receive and unload products, ensuring accuracy and quality.<\/li>
  • Maintain quality control while receiving and shipping in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>
  • Work among a committed and safety-focused team in an inclusive culture.<\/li>
  • Support all safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Required Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certification.<\/li>
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.<\/li>
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks.<\/li>
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs<\/li>
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the job.<\/li>
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment which varies between 0 \u00b0 C to 5\u00b0 C<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Preferred Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Good communication skills and being a team player<\/li>
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset.<\/li>
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.<\/li>
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

License or certifications required <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps<\/li>
  • Forklift License<\/li>
  • Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>
