Requirements<\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Experience required <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

At least 6 months of experience as a baker or similar \u00a0.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Responsibilities or main duties <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Setting temperatures and cooking times for different products<\/li>
  • Baking various types of bagels and other bakery products in large batches<\/li>
  • Follow established baking recipes and techniques to ensure consistency and quality in all products.<\/li>
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.<\/li>
  • Maintain inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted production<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Required Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Able to move up to 50lbs.<\/li>
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the job.<\/li>
  • \u00a0Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills<\/li>
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Preferred Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Previous experience in a bakery or food service setting is preferred.<\/li>
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment<\/li>
  • Culinary or baking education preferred, but not required<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

License or certifications required <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

  • Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps<\/li>
  • Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>
