Responsibilities or main duties <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a Supervisor.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor the production line.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Follow all Company health and safety policies and procedures.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Other duties as assigned. Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Operate hoisting and lifting devices.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Inspect machinery for irregularities and malfunctions.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power systems.<\/p>

Required Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Demonstrated experience with mechanics, machine shop practices (including lathe and milling machines), welding (ARC, TIG, MIG), and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Preferred Skills <\/strong><\/p><\/td>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in the bakery or food production industry.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Additional certifications in welding or machinery operation.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Valid Red Seal Millwright License or Provincial Millwright Ticket (Industrial Mechanic Millwright-433A) is required.<\/p>

\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps approved WHMIS certificate with at least 70% of score.<\/p>
