Experience required | 1 year of experience as a Counterbalance forklift operator. |
Responsibilities or main duties | ● Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. ● Ensure the safe and efficient handling of products, following all safety protocols and guidelines. ● Verify and document the receipt and shipment of materials accurately. ● Organize and store products in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility. ● Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition. |
Required Skills | ● Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. ● Proactiveness. ● Work with the shipping and receiving schedules as required. ● Knowledge in warehouses procedures ● Attention to detail. ● Technical knowledge in Shipping and Receiving processes and documentation. ● Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or WMS (Warehouse Management System). |
Preferred Skills | ● Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse operation. ● Strong organizational skills. ● Experience shipping and receiving is a plus. |
License or certifications required | ● Forklift Counterbalance License ● Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps ● Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear) |
Benefits | ● Overtime paid After 44 hours (e.g $23*1.5=$34.50p/h) ● 4% vacation paid out weekly |
