Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Experience required

1 year of experience as a Counterbalance forklift operator.

Responsibilities or main duties

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of products, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Verify and document the receipt and shipment of materials accurately.
• Organize and store products in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.

Required Skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Proactiveness.
• Work with the shipping and receiving schedules as required.
• Knowledge in warehouses procedures
• Attention to detail.
• Technical knowledge in Shipping and Receiving processes and documentation.
• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Preferred Skills

• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse operation.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience shipping and receiving is a plus.

License or certifications required

• Forklift Counterbalance License
• Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps
• Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)
