Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Experience required

Previous experience as a Mixer.

Responsibilities or main duties

  • Accurately weighing out and preparing ingredients for mixing
  • Mix and knead dough by hand or using a mixer, ensuring proper consistency and texture.
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
  • Maintain inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted production

Required Skills

  • Able to move up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the job.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in a bakery or food service setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
  • Culinary or baking education preferred, but not required

License or certifications required

  • Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps
  • Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)
