Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Experience required

Lead hand experience and One year of experience as a Forklift Operator.

Responsibilities or main duties

• Coordinate with the Order Manager and dispatch department to prepare trucks for loading.
• Investigate and coordinate any missing orders not found during loading.
• Report outstanding orders on the shipping floor back to the sales team.
• Maintain direct communication with the Midnight Shift
• Plan operations and resource allocations for shipping.
• Relay real-time information to the team to maximize productivity.
• Maintain data reflecting the productivity flow of the shift.
• Ensure all trucks and booms are loaded accurately and trucks leave the yard in a timely manner.
• Address quality, health, and safety issues effectively.
• Accurately document and investigate remaining orders staged on the shipping floor.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform any other duties as requested.

Required Skills

• Valid forklift license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, processes, and techniques, including packaging, sorting, stacking, product placement/picking, loading, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies, and procedures.

License or certifications required

• Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps
• Forklift License.
• Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)
