Experience required

At least 1 year of experience as a Forklift Operator

Responsibilities or main duties

• Operate a counterbalance forklift for various warehouse duties, including shunting rail cars for receiving products.
• Organize the warehouse and ensure efficient product storage.
• Load products for shipment by following established shipping procedures.
• Receive and unload products, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Maintain quality control while receiving and shipping in a fast-paced environment.
• Work among a committed and safety-focused team in an inclusive culture.
• Support all safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.

Required Skills

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certification.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the job.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment which varies between 0 ° C to 5° C

Preferred Skills

• Good communication skills and being a team player
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.

License or certifications required

• Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps
• Forklift License
• Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)
