Responsibilities or main duties

●        Operate a counterbalance forklift for various warehouse duties, including shunting rail cars for receiving products.

●        Organize the warehouse and ensure efficient product storage.

●        Load products for shipment by following established shipping procedures.

●        Receive and unload products, ensuring accuracy and quality.

●        Maintain quality control while receiving and shipping in a fast-paced environment.

●        Work among a committed and safety-focused team in an inclusive culture.

●        Support all safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.

Required Skills

●        Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certification.

●        Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

●        Comfortable with repetitive tasks.

●        Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

●        Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the job.

●        Must be able to work in a cold environment which varies between 0 ° C to 5° C

Preferred Skills

●        Good communication skills and being a team player

●        Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset.

●        Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.

●        Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.

License or certifications required

●        Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps

●        Forklift License

●        Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)
