Education Level

High school diploma.

Experience required

At least  3 months of experience as a Lumper in any field or similar positions.

Responsibilities or main duties

●        Perform manual unloading of trailers

●        Stack and organize freight in a safe and efficient manner

●        Use equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move freight

●        Ensure accuracy of freight being loaded and unloaded

●        Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

●        Always follow safety guidelines and procedures

●        Assist with other warehouse duties as needed

●        Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of productivity

Required Skills

●        Capable of lifting and carrying parts to 50 pounds (23kg) and perform physical labor

●        Availability to work in a fast-paced environment.

●        Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the job.

Preferred Skills

●       Good communication and teamwork skills.

●        High productivity level

License or certifications required

●        Health and Safety certificate: Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps

●        Approved WHIMS certificate with at least 70% of score.

●        Personal Protection Equipment (safety footwear)
